Karolin Chitilian earned a Bachelor's Degree in English Literature and Linguistics from U.C. Berkeley. She then went on to earn her Juris Doctorate degree from Santa Clara University, School of Law. Karolin is a member in good standing of the California State Bar Association and belongs to the American Immigration Lawyer's Association.
Her personal background as a refugee turned U.S. citizen makes her an especially emphatic and passionate advocate in the area of immigration law.

The M-1 visa is for individuals seeking to enter the U.S. temporarily as full-time vocational or non-academic students who have been accepted in a U.S. approved program that leads to a degree or certificate.

  1. M-2 (family members) this visa is available to spouses and unmarried children under 21 of the M-1 who are seeking to accompany the M-1 to the U.S temporarily.
