Tourist/Visitor visa (B-2 visa) If you are interested in traveling to the U.S. as a tourist or visitor, Elmhurst Immigration Law can help you apply for a B-2 visa*. This visa is for individuals who want to come to the U.S. for a specifically limited duration for purposes such as (a) tourism, (b) amusement, (c) social visits to friends and/or relatives, (d) receiving medical treatment, (e) attending conventions of social organizations, (f) participating in amateur musical performances or sports (so long as there is no reward or payment), (g) accompanying an individual coming to the U.S. as a B-1 business visitor, (h) coming to the U.S. to marry a U.S. citizen but departing after, or (i) coming to the U.S. to marry a non-immigrant.
